Linear Slic Kable

The brake cable is another bike part that is often taken for granted. The Slic Kable has been around since 1987. We have made impovements since then, but in essence, it remains unchanged and the only brake cable worth using. The best all around cable. Pre-stretched inner wire, Teflon lined, tight coil housing. Unlike most generic cables, the Slic Kable has been machined to be the smoothest cable around. Ridden and proven since the early 80’s. Unlike most generic cables with a BMX lug end and a road bike lug end, Slic Kables have a BMX Lug end and a Gyro lug end(on straight version) to use for dual lower cable/london mod set-ups. 2 sets of barrel adjusters (Gyro/M2 Lever version) The Linear Slic Kable is a major improvement that fill the gap between a straight cable and the Gyro®. The heavy duty Linear housing for tailwhips or barspins with a straight cable set-up. Linear cables let you twist the cable and continue consistent braking. The Linear and Slic name is being used to describe regular, inferior derailleur housing, and generic cables, like Kleenex for tissues. Unless its genuine Odyssey Linear Slic Kable, its not a Heavy-Duty BMX cable. Beware the imitators.
