Jim Cielencki bike check & update

Jim C has a pretty sweet bike check and photo gallery up over at ESPN. In it, he talks about his 24″ Model C and what it’s like riding it and switch back and forth between the 20″.

I know you ride your Sunday cruiser more than a regular 20″ bike nowadays. Is there a specific reason for this? To be honest, I go back and forth between the 20″ and 24″ throughout the year. I run a BMX bike company, so I should have experience in both bikes. Before I started riding this bike in October, I rode my 20″ for a whole year straight. For me, it’s difficult to switch between the two just because the 24″ makes the 20″ feel small. The main reason why I ride the 24″ is that I like the idea of taking something you already know how to do and making it different. It’s like riding bigger stair sets or steeper rails, you want the challenge of taking something you already know and making it different or more difficult.

Chase Hawk Bike Check

It’s been a while since we last did a bike check with Chase Hawk. His bike is orange these days and loaded with our latest stuff, including his new signature sprocket! One other cool thing to note about Chase’s bike is his drive-train is manly! 180mm Twombolts, 30t C-512 sprocket and a 9t cog on his V3 Cassette. His bike is setup for speed and blasting high.

Mike Aitken Bike Check

I watched Anthem 2 last night and was blown away with Aitken’s part (and the whole video for that matter). It’s unreal how much style and power than man has. Literally not a minute or two after, a text from him comes in completing the parts list for the bike check you see above.

Anyway, he’s been making some progress in his road to recovery and though he’s not back to 100% yet, he was firing out some style over the dubs in Beringer’s yard when we hung out with him last month! He even clocked some clips for an edit we have in the works.

He likes his bikes long and low with a little harder gearing (28/9) right off the bat. Here’s his most current bike, which happens to match our latest semi-matte teal color kit.

Beringer Bike Check & Update

This is Matt Beringer’s latest ride. There are still some little mods he wants to do to it here and there but for the most part, this is it. We shot the bike check when we were filming in SLC earlier this month and Matt’s currently on his way to San Francisco to get some more clips. Here’s another bike we have on display in the Full Factory booth at Interbike. It’s called The Waltz and it’s equipped with the Flatware products that’s currently available, along with some samples and prototypes that are in the works.

Ocean Blue Bayou Bars, Flatware Forks and Socket Drive Twombolts will be available later this year (black versions are available now).

Aaron Ross’ Orange

The first bike up on the list is Aaron Ross’ Orange! Safety Orange is the new colorway we have lined up. The only part we have available right now for sale is the Aaron Ross Grip but you can expect everything else to come trickling in later this year.

One other thing that’s new in this bike check is Aaron Ross’ signature tire! It keeps the keyboard theme of all his other signature parts and the thread pattern are inverted keys which spell out some fun messages from Aaron Ross and a handful from the contest we held last year (we’ll be announcing the winners soon).
