The Ride UK Reader Awards happened this past weekend and Aaron Ross took home the win for the Worldwide Rider of the Year. Congrats!!!

Ride UK rarely ever puts American dudes on the cover so when this new issue with Chase Hawk popped up on our radar, we were pumped. Congrats Chase!!!!!!

Ride UK just uploaded some new wallpapers. Chase Hawk scored one of them and you can download it in WIDE and STANDARD mode.

If you live in the upper regions of the northern hemisphere, you either already have or will soon feel the wrath of this year’s winter snow. If you happen to find your town blanketed with inches of that white stuff, don’t fret, here’s a little how-to from the dudes at Ride UK to help keep you shredding. Some sweet stuff popped up on the internet and in my inbox today. First on the list is a battle between Terry Adams and Shinichi Kiba at the last KOG comp in Japan. Some of the links and hops Terry does is unreal. Though the red flag in the end indicates he lost, the 360 hop he does shortly afterwards is dialed!

Next is a video for our Beta Bag made by our Russian distributor, Toy Bike. If you’re from that part of the globe and in the market for a nice bag, give them a ring. If you’re from the US, you’re in luck ’cause it’s in the closeout section of our online store!

Here is G-Sport’s latest advert, as seen on page 177 of Ride UK #128. It’s their annual photo issue and filled with eye candy from cover to cover. Also, if you haven’t done so already, you can stalk George through his Twitter.

Did you know that in 1998, George French had a Ride UK cover?! I did not know that until about 10 minutes ago. Ride UK has been doing a series of articles featuring cover stories from past issues and right now, you can read about George’s story about the 7″ kicker to wallride.

Speaking of grizz airs, I remember seeing a picture of Taj Mihelich doing one in a magazine a long time ago with a caption that made reference to “4 swear words and throwing a hammer” as a way of describing it. I don’t remember which issue or even the magazine it was in, but I believe it was a table of contents photo, from a DK dirt comp and he’s riding an orange general lee. Does anybody else remember this? I want to see it again.

The title doesn’t really make much sense but whatever. Here’s a fairly hefty update from internet land and the real world. One of the big news of the weekend is Terry Adams won another flatland comp. The other recent big news is there’s a Vigilantia preview over at MikeAitken.com. Things are moving and they should be available very soon. Outside of Vigilantia, Mike’s recovery is moving forward and it looks like he’s on the road to getting his full vision back! Full details over at his site.

Ever wonder where all of those ramps from the X-Games end up? Well, they keep them locked up in a warehouse, stacked up like crazy into a scene that somewhat resembles an Esher or a Picasso.
