Here’s a new bike check with Aaron Ross courtesy of Sunday Bikes. You can get a look at the prototype Odyssey coaster that Aaron has been running as of late.
We are introducing new brake kits featuring the most popular brakes, levers and cables available. The Springfield Brake Kit or the Evo 2 Brake Kit will provide easy braking upgrades along with value, as each kit will be more affordable than buying each part individually. All necessary hardware will be included as well. Doesn’t get much better!

The Odyssey Monolever turns 10 years old this week. The short, medium and trigger shapes (and the M2 bracket) were designed over three 14 hour days to meet a deadline in June 2003. The short handle was based on an old customized Tech 77 lever that Nuno Oliveira had, and the trigger came from an old ODSY race lever that Jim Cielencki used. Thank you to anyone who has used them over years. We appreciate it.
For 2013, we are introducing Hunter Green and Bronze products to our lineup. As you can see from the picture, these anodize finishes look great and will add a nice touch to your ride.
The kits include the following items:
- Chase Hawk C-512 sprocket
25t, 27t, 28t, 30t or 31t sizes
- Tom Dugan TDFL stem
45mm or 53mm reach
7.5mm rise or 24mm when flipped
- Sean Sexton SXTN stem
33mm rise or -1.5mm when flipped
- Evo 2 brakes
Front or rear brake compatible
Cable hanger, straddle cable and an array of hardware included
medium lever size
- Antigram hub
2014-T6 aluminum shell
14mm or 3/8″ inbound axle
Left or right hand drive
Compatible Hub Guard (Optional)
- Antigram front hub (not pictured, coming soon)
Bronze originally came about as a color option that Tom Dugan picked for his signature TDFL stem late last year, and we thought is was sweet enough to carry over to other parts. As for Hunter Green, that just looks sweet too.
Hit up your local bike shop or favorite mailorder and ask for Hunter Green or Bronze Odyssey awesomeness!

This is pretty cool. Usually JC completely builds up a bike using aftermarket parts but this time around, he ended up just running a complete bike that’s already built up with nothing but aftermarket parts. As a bonus, there’s even some fresh JC footage in here!
