MODS: Sharpied the hubs on the lathe downstairs. Grinded my rear dropouts to make it 13.65″ or so. Cut and grinded my inside sprocket guard so it’s only using the three nuts and bolts on the down side of where the sprocket is for left foot forward. Replaced the barrel adjuster nuts on the Gyro cables with the presta valve tube things they use to keep valves through the rims on ten speeds with. Cut my bars a little bit (25.5″ Wide). Shuffled some pedal pins around. I replaced the brake shoe allen heads with old school round head brake shoe nuts cause the allen head things sometimes meet my ankles.

There are still a couple things I want to do to this bike that I’ve been slacking on. I mostly just wanted to get a new bike that wasn’t as shiny as my chrome and gold bike that I was riding for a long time before I crashed this summer and had to take a couple months off. I’ve been having a lot of good times riding this bike in the last couple months… it’s sweet.

This is Matt Beringer’s latest ride. There are still some little mods he wants to do to it here and there but for the most part, this is it. We shot the bike check when we were filming in SLC earlier this month and Matt’s currently on his way to San Francisco to get some more clips. Jimmy Levan will be in attendance as well so Bay Area, watch out!

Adam Banton Bike Check

Adam Banton just put together a new whip. It’s all white with some black/chrome accents and it’s looking slick. You can check out the full bike check over at the Eastern site!

Gary Young Bike Check!

Gary Young has a bike check up over at the Sunday site. We noticed some kids happened to spy that he’s not running his own grips right now and that’s mainly because he’s in the process of updating his signature grip so he’s trying out some other ones to see what changes he wants. Also, the Gary Young bar will also be getting a fresh update soon so keep an eye out for that as well!

Check out the pics above and then play Pong when you’re done!
Oh and you might as well watch his Tunnel edit again, too.

Adam Banton just sent us some new pics of his bike. The theme is freestyle and the white tanwall rims are in full effect. If the fist of post rule looks like it’s being violated, that’s because Morgan Wade dropped his seat for him so could learn decades and opposite whips. Lowering it has helped a lot and it doesn’t look like it’ll be coming up again any time soon; “You don’t mess with someone who looped Mt. Baldy.”

Click around the flipbook above to get fresh.
