Defgrip re-upped their Chase Hawk / Oakley promo from last year. Watch it now if you haven’t done so already.

Have you guys seen the new Empire Trailer over at Defgrip? Chase Hawk, Aaron Ross and Tom Dugan all have some gnarly wrecks in it and you can tell they’ve been putting in some serious time and effort into having dialed sections. Mark your calendars – 11/11/11 is the new Rapture.

Some sweet stuff popped up on the internet and in my inbox today. First on the list is a battle between Terry Adams and Shinichi Kiba at the last KOG comp in Japan. Some of the links and hops Terry does is unreal. Though the red flag in the end indicates he lost, the 360 hop he does shortly afterwards is dialed!

Next is a video for our Beta Bag made by our Russian distributor, Toy Bike. If you’re from that part of the globe and in the market for a nice bag, give them a ring. If you’re from the US, you’re in luck ’cause it’s in the closeout section of our online store!

Nuno and the Defgrip crew just put up an in-depth interview with Skier J. He produces a LOT of work for BMX and in the interview, you can catch him talking about things from how he got his nickname, printing shirts, photography, painting, design and much more. He’s also the man behind the lens of our latest Mike Aitken Ad and some of the wallpapers we’ve offered these past few months (Beringer – Shed, Mike Aitken and Beringer – Jacket).

Oh and as to what Matt Beringer was doing in his latest wallpaper:

Jump onto the shed, land can can, and I guess you could call it a saran wrap barspin driving it with my leg and it kind of turns me around when it spins.  I like tricks that you can’t name because they’re too hard to explain.  I do one of these in my day in the life in Props 69 and also in “I wanna live.” 

Somebody should do this trick in the air and name it something really stupid and take credit for inventing it.

Nuno put up some awesome pics from last weekend’s Utah trip over at Defgrip.

We’re flowing some treats to the Kink / Red Bull’s Trick or Treat Jam this weekend and they’ll be raffling it off with proceeds going toward the Mike Aitken Fund. Full flyer after the jump.
