Tom @ Empire just sent us an e-mail letting us know that Tom Dugan is now officially on the Empire stunter crew. Considering they don’t add new riders to their team very often, this is pretty big news. Plus, it also means that Dugan’s going to have lots of clips in their upcoming video as well! Here’s what Tom had to say about Dugan:

ahhhh, Mr Dugan. we only met this wildman in the last few years, but he has proven to be an interesting dude, and we dig him. plus, anyone that comes highly recommended by Joe Rich automatically gets the seal of approval from us. easy as, as they say. yeah yeah, you have heard all about the water thing, Dr Pepper, etc. the only liquid we require that he bathe in is the sweat that comes from filming with Diamond Dave, and Dugan has been taking care of business on that front, 100%. X-Games Park finals is over now and Gary ended up taking home the Bronze medal! The duo both ended up tweaking their knees a bit but they pulled some incredible lines and transfers before it all ended. Congrats guys and get well soon!

X-Games 2010 is underway and park prelims just got done wrapping up. We’re psyched to announce that Chase Hawk and Gary Young both qualified for finals!

Chapstick is a handy thing to keep around. It’ll keep your lips nice and soft and if you ever find yourself in a pinch at a grind ledge, it also doubles as an emergency waxing device. Adam Banton introduced it to us while we were out filming in Santa Clarita skatepark last week. There was a grind he’s been wanting to do and the chapstick came to the rescue. It’s funny to think that little thing is what helped add another clip for his upcoming video edit!

In other ATB news, we shipped him our sidehack so expect some awesomeness to surface!

Dean Dickinson reached his 100th pool mark a while ago but this weekend was when the official celebrations were held. Invitations went out and plenty of people made the trek out to the Pink Motel to party in the deep end. Adam Banton came appropriately dressed in his board shorts, Nuno shot a bunch of pics for Defgrip, Tom Dugan blasted over a werewolf, Jim Bauer hopped over the entire pool and Jimmy Levan even flew down from Seattle! We donated a bunch of Plegs to keep the coping safe and a handful of other goods as prizes. Ironically enough, Jim and Tom ended up winning some of it back. I’m sure there’ll be plenty of videos popping up soon so we’ll keep you posted via Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and telepathy.

Congratulations to Terry Adams for taking home first place at the Twilight contest in Athens this past weekend! The street contest was rained out but pro flat went on in the pouring rain and everyone was soaked. Here are a couple pics courtesy of Terry.
