That is quite possibly the perfect setup. Posted by: Chris-Not from ODSY at June 26, 2008 03:30 PM^ i agree will g-sport sell complete back wheels with the ratchet and new spokes and nipples? Posted by: john at June 26, 2008 04:05 PMmy bike is waiting for a back gsport hub to match to the front one!!! Posted by: pedro at June 26, 2008 04:46 PMNo Odyssey grips????? FIRE HIM IMMEDIATELY!!! Posted by: Russ at June 26, 2008 08:12 PMthat bike is awesome. Shaved head tube and all. Looks sweet Jim. Sunday is so awesome. Posted by: Nate at June 26, 2008 08:40 PMSunday is rad. And Jim is a good guy. I'd buy a Sunday if they made a light, by current light bikes standards, frame. For all the thought that goes into it, I think they'd engineer some of the excess out of it. Posted by: D at June 26, 2008 09:11 PM^^^^^^ weight weenie you are D Posted by: cxv at June 27, 2008 02:26 AMHey, the weight of the frame was 4.71 lbs and the weight before brakes was 23.08 lbs. We try to balance out strength and weight not just weight when designing a frame. Posted by: Jim Cielencki at June 27, 2008 05:42 AM9t driver on the Rachet!? Posted by: Budnz at June 27, 2008 07:20 AMblack is the new black. and im so happy i just read ''cock mongers.'' best way to start my day that i can think of. Posted by: Daniil at June 27, 2008 11:08 AM^just what I was thinking. Posted by: cal at June 27, 2008 11:26 AMhey jim your brake works fine?? what about the black ribcage and the black pads, don't you have problems with it?? Posted by: Charly at June 27, 2008 11:57 AMno pegs? Posted by: snarcotic at June 27, 2008 12:26 PMIs that clamp steel? It looks too thin to be aluminum. And when's the Ratchet gonna be out? Posted by: JohnW at June 27, 2008 08:02 PMmy god you are all nerds, if they were new wonbolts wouldn't they say prototype on the list? and who cares what the seatclamp is, it will still do the same job. And as for the black rim and brakes, well of course they would work unless you can't fix a bike. wow all jc has to do is post a typo or put weight specs out and you all go nuts... should put all this effort into getting a root
Yeah we are testing 9 tooth drivers for Ratchet hubs, not sure when they are coming out. I know what you are saying about the black pad/rim thing, but so far they work. I've always been lax about how well my brakes work, so they might not work as well as you might like. The seat clamp is steel, but its real thin and slim. We are trying to mimic the look of integrated seat clamps. As for the grips, Odyssey gave me these to ride because I like Longnecks a lot! Pegs will be back on real soon. Posted by: Jim Cielencki at June 28, 2008 08:07 AMwhats up with those k-lytes??? Posted by: jeremy at June 28, 2008 08:42 AMHolly crap i love this bike cant wait till my black magic comes i just orderd one off of dans comp and i check my mail ever day waitign and waiting thanks jim for givng me some great ideas on new parts for my sunday! the only thing i change would be get all white pars =]] Posted by: Tanner at June 28, 2008 11:10 AMI like the idea of the steel seat clamp. It can be a lot slimmer than an aluminum one and stronger. Also, what's with the 27-9? Seems like hills would be a bit of a pain. I'd rather run easier gearing like 25-10. Posted by: JohnW at June 28, 2008 04:32 PMhey, lovin the purple brakes, u guys gonna make em as like a limited editon run of em or are they already out, i havent seen em in any shop yet. Just wondering what bb this sunday frame has? nice bike btw Posted by: Jonathon Symons at June 30, 2008 10:44 AMIt has a mid.
