BAUER/METAL

Our boy Jim Bauer is currently out on a trip with the Metal bikes team. Good times indeed. Be sure to pick up that Metal vid if you haven't.

If you see the crew, make sure to say whats up. Bauer is most likely the one not wearing black or leather.

RONNIE GASKA

Lately I've been helping out my boy Ronnie Gaska with some parts, which is awesome since he's one of the people I looked up to from back in the day on Long Island. The race scene might remember G-Man, but he was always smooth at the trails too, and still is.

Above is a recent pic of Ronnie at the Trails on Long Island, shot by Dave from Panamoka.

Check out more random pics at F*CKBMX too.

Certain parts of the world have already received the Mike Aitken Nightwolf saddles, so keep and eye out in your local shop or mailorder.

We should be receiving our shipment of both Nightwolf saddles early next month, along with a new denim version of Mike's seat as well.

Speaking of Aitken, check out his recent Fit ad that was featured in the latest ride. Click!

C.F.L STEM

Frontloaders rejoice!

Above is our new C.F.L stem (Classic Front Loader), which is available now and shipping to our distributors. Our UK distributor even has them now with custom upside down front caps (along with a bunch of other good stuff).

As you can tell from the pics, all the appropriate measures have been taken to give you a good strong lightweight stem. With the C.F.L, Classic stem and the Elementary, we should have everyone covered.

The C.F.L stem has a 53mm reach, and weighs 11.2 ounces. It is available in Black, Gold and White. Click below for one more pic as well.

Contact your local shop or mailorder for more info.

Sittin' on Chrome!!!

I took a look at the web today and it seems by bike is all over the place, and that's weird. I guess this little shout out goes to the 3 pages on BG and the name mention on SPRFLS. I am going to take a minute here to answer the questions I have seen and to straighten out all of the inaccuracies that are floating around. Hope this helps.-ben

Frame: Sunday Ian, chopped and channeled seat tube to allow for a sky scraper seat pole.

Fork: Director 2, Integrated Steer tube race, Chrome finish. These are something I have had done, they will NEVER be released.

Bar: Lumberjacks, Chrome finish. These will be hitting your shops and distributors in a few weeks. Get them while they're hot. SUPER LIMITED!!! Haha.

Cranks: Wombolts, 175, RHD, Chrome finish. These are something I have had done, they will NEVER be released. KC badger has the only other pair.

Sprocket: 25T MDS High Polished. These were sold this way.

Chain: KMC Kool Chain Lite

Pedals: JC/PC Pedal. Familiar JC size and shape, all the advantages of plastic pedals with all the grip you could want. I have flush mount hardware on the backside since that is my "grind" side. These are also an Odyssey product. Easy rule of thumb is GSport is the high end wheel category and in the long run, there is not separation or difference between Odyssey and GSport. No set release date...

Front Wheel: GSport Rib Cage, GSport Butted Spokes, GSport Aluminum Tapered-Hex Nipples, Hand Stripped and Polished Marmoset, Tanwall Path 2.10, Generic Tube from the box in back.

Rear Wheel: GSport Rib Cage, GSport Butted Spokes, GSport Aluminum Tapered-Hex Nipples, Hand Stripped and Polished Ratchet w/ 9T Prototype and 3/8 Axle, Tanwall Path 1.85, Generic Tube from the box in back.

Pegs: Jpeg Lighters or Plegs, mostly Plegs. 2 in front, 1 in back.

Seat Post Clamp: Prototype

Seat Post: Silver Intac 25.4, 1 fist rule.

Seat: Mike Aitken Signature Black

Grips: Griswald Black

Grip Donuts: Red Lizard Skins

Barends: Parends Black

Lever: Monolever Short White

Cable: Linear White

Brake: Acs Boa, OG Son! I usually don't have brakes. I picked these up to keep the throwback look and to use whenever I feel like it. They are dialed.

Brake pads: Slim by 4 Clear

Weight for all of those wondering: 23lbs or so.

I hope to have a Chromed out Wave 2 by Interbike, the pocketbook aint gonna like that, haha.

TANWALL TIRES

Some of you eagle-eyed the Tanwall tires in those riding pics that Jim posted from the other day, and emails/comments began.

Above is a better pic of my bike with the Tanwall tires so you can check them out (click the pic for bigger version). The front is a knobby Aitken, and the rear is a Path. The label on the tire is not right, so disregard that.

These Tanwall tires are being made to "look" like old school skinwalls, but are way more durable as the casings coincide with what we are offering now. Actual skinwalls wouldn't hold up very well these days, but the Tanwalls will.

These are a few months out. More info soon.

SNEAK PEEK: iPedals/Grips

We have begun taking pre-orders from our distributors for the above pedals and grips. We approved these samples a little while ago, and its going to be impossible to keep these on the low, so we are showing this stuff a bit earlier than we normally would.

The pedals are the ubiquitous PC's, and the Grips are the Griswalds. You may remember seeing the Griswald grips from pics of Interbike last year, and they will finally be out soon.

The iPedals and iGrips will be available within 2 months in the following clear colors:

Blueberry
Grape
Graphite
Lime
Strawberry
Tangerine

Contact your local shop/mailorder if you want to get some on order.

You can click on the pic to see it bigger.
