C.F.L STEM

Frontloaders rejoice!

Above is our new C.F.L stem (Classic Front Loader), which is available now and shipping to our distributors. Our UK distributor even has them now with custom upside down front caps (along with a bunch of other good stuff).

As you can tell from the pics, all the appropriate measures have been taken to give you a good strong lightweight stem. With the C.F.L, Classic stem and the Elementary, we should have everyone covered.

The C.F.L stem has a 53mm reach, and weighs 11.2 ounces. It is available in Black, Gold and White. Click below for one more pic as well.

Contact your local shop or mailorder for more info.

Chunk Full of Lightness!

Ben, I'm waiting for a response to my e-mail.

Posted by: Daniil at June 19, 2008 07:30 PM

well im sure the top logo's are etched and the front logo is screen printed

Posted by: killermike at June 19, 2008 08:13 PM

All logos are laser etched.

Black and Gold bodies are re-anodized for Black on black and Gold on gold. While the face is left silver.

White is powdercoated then laser etched, silver on white.

Posted by: Jim B at June 19, 2008 09:23 PM

ohhhh re-anodized... so THAT'S how it's done! always wondered haha. looking good, i was thinking about buying a new stem the other day too haha! (317 grams for those who can't convert to metric by the way)

Odyssey will NOT be going bankrupt anytime soon.

Posted by: Not Jim B at June 21, 2008 08:28 AM

No way, that must be a lie!

Posted by: Daniil at June 21, 2008 09:08 AM

Ah I think I gotcha, fake Jim B!

On a side note, damn Ben, I thought you were the coolest Odyssey representative. Why still no reply to me?

Posted by: Daniil at June 21, 2008 09:12 AM

are you really going bankrupt

Posted by: no at June 21, 2008 09:17 AM

electronical is uploaded at video.google

tell google to take it off their site...
thats just wrong, its such a good video!!!

Posted by: odysseyfan at June 21, 2008 01:45 PM

Thanks we will look into that.

Daniil, I asked you before to be patient with any reply from us since we are all very busy. Please be patient. Most of your questions have already been answered in the various topics you participated in. Repeatedly asking for an answer is not the best way for you to get one.

If we have any news about a product, IT WILL be posted on the site when it comes available. In most cases there will be no news until the product is on its way to shops. Pretty straight forward. Thanks and enjoy the rest of your weekend and for most of you your summer.-ben

choco full 'o L-nuts

Posted by: e at June 21, 2008 04:15 PM

Ben, I must've missed those answers, because I don't remember you answering me about seatpost clamp, for example. Spokes - yeah I kind of periodically ask that, sorry. Thanks for taking time to reply here, anyway. I can't enjoy my summer because I had a surgery and can't ride for a long time, that's why I'm bugging you here :-)

Posted by: Daniil at June 21, 2008 08:22 PM

I said most, not all your questions, haha. We are constantly out of Mr. Clampy's so we are more than happy to have the new version come in and be able to ship to shops. I have no idea when the new ones will show up, but they will eventually. The part is considered a "running change" and that is why there has been no info on them.

All bicycle related items are really slow now a days since cycling in general has become really popular in Taiwan itself, so production is slowed due to inside country sales. It is great to see cycling growing all over the world. I am glad I design parts for bikes and not cars, haha.

Sucks to hear you are laid up Danill, get well.

Odyssey is going bankrupt.

Posted by: Ben at June 21, 2008 11:15 PM

By the way Jim C, stop editing Jim B's comments.

Posted by: Ben at June 21, 2008 11:16 PM

So ARE they clamped to chrome lumberjacks?

Posted by: belnapp at June 21, 2008 11:22 PM

^ Yes they are! Ben said earlier that chrome Lumberjacks will be available (unlike forks and cranks, which become much weaker when chromed) eventually. Not sure when, though.

Thanks Ben for partially responding and recover wish. I consider the Flat fork question to be the most important out of all questions asked by me, may I get an answer? Ta

Posted by: Daniil at June 21, 2008 11:56 PM

I'll just assume 6mm bolts?

Posted by: vb at June 22, 2008 08:08 AM

^ The bolts are 8 mm but take 6 mm allen wrench.

Posted by: Daniil at June 22, 2008 09:22 AM

make it with 48mm reach!!

Posted by: Ankzt at June 22, 2008 02:53 PM
