Contribution BMX Video Contest Now Accepting Submissions Contribution Video is now accepting submissions for its 1st contest. Submissions will be open until June 30th. There are prizes being offered up from Odyssey. All of funds raised are being donated to three user-voted charities. More information is available at http://www.contributionvideo.com/. Contribution video contest is a grassroots contest aimed to highlight potentially unheard of talent in BMX riding and BMX videography while at the same time raising some money for charities within the BMX industry. There are 3 categories: Single trick — single-trick videos are exactly what they say on the tin; a single rider doing a single trick. Standard part—One rider starring in a full-length (2-4 minutes) video part, as you see in your favorite company videos. Group entry—Several riders cooperating together to submit a montage part. There are two prizes awarded for each of these categories, one is picked by the general public through voting on the Contribution website and one is picked by a panel of sponsors and judges. It is 15 dollars to enter into the competition with 100% of the proceeds going to BMX related charities (http://contributionvideo.com/charity). There are tons of great prizes available (http://contributionvideo.com/prizes) for you to win and each entry has a chance to win in the general public voting and in the category picked by the judges.
