I can see clearly now...

clear_banner.jpg

It's been a little while since we first showed the prototype Clear PC pedals at Interbike last year. We had them in the display case in the middle of our booth, and I'm pretty sure I answered more questions about these pedals than anything else.

Since then and throughout the testing stages, they have showed up on various bikes and places including the cover of Ride UK on Davey Watson's bike.

Sooooo, we are finally psyched to say that the Clear PC's have arrived in our warehouse and are in transit to our distributors right now. Hit up your local shop for more info.

There are more pics below, and more colors to come throughout the year.

I think they will be pretty close if not the same.

Posted by: Jim B at April 23, 2008 08:54 PM

They should not yellow for up to a few years.

Posted by: Jim B at April 23, 2008 08:56 PM

do le highlighter yellow.

also diff color end caps would SELL.

Posted by: vv007 at April 23, 2008 10:50 PM

You should make more translucent colors for the pedals..

People complain too much about minor details, for instance end caps...get over it haha.

Jim B. you are a real OG for sure ha.

By the way I already pre-ordered a pair from EmpireBMX. I am stoked on getting them..

honestly, odyssey uses the same "clear" pads as plazmatic did. since they went out under there patient on the compound wasnt valid, so odyssey snake'ed it and is now producing them!!!!!! horrayyyyyyyyy!!! so did another company called rock or something.......... which are the ones you get from canada...... no homo yo

is odyssey comming out with pivtol seats. (SENIOR 2 seats)

Posted by: CODY at April 26, 2008 07:10 PM

clear pedals seem dangerous.

Posted by: Truls at April 27, 2008 01:43 PM

nice pedals but 2 things are wrong in my opinion, 1 is that there not jim cylenski or trail mix pedals (there twisted pedals but clear), 2 is the fact there are no pins its only plastic why couldnt they be arsed to taper some holes so u can have pins.
Plastic pedals are ok but plastic grip is shoddy

Posted by: specky joe at April 27, 2008 03:41 PM

When are the JC/PC pedals going to be out?? When I looked through older posts they were supposed to be out last summer??

It is pretty easy to drill some screws in the pedals or just don't buy plastic pedals ha..

Are the clear pedals different in weight, seeing how it is a different plastic?

Posted by: Nathan From ohiooo at April 28, 2008 10:25 AM

i mite get than

VILLAS N.J

M.B all day
ERR day

Posted by: Matt Blew at April 30, 2008 09:54 AM

Personally, I don't like 'em... but being Odyssey, they should be good...

Posted by: Daniel at April 30, 2008 07:23 PM

Will they be available in 1/2"?

Posted by: Fuzzy_Panda at May 1, 2008 07:30 PM

I would get one only if there was a way you wouldn't be able to wear out the pins so quickly. Ones the pins are worn out, this pedal is pretty much useless.
