Posted by: Heng at September 22, 2007 11:16 AMNone of the brakes pictured are anodized. They are either plated or powder coated. Posted by: ben at September 22, 2007 11:33 AM"The A Brake pad supplied with the Evolver brake set works just as well as Cool Stop Pads.." Yes sir. Heh. Posted by: Guyroy at September 22, 2007 01:20 PMSo does that mean the production EVO's are powder coated? Posted by: Heng at September 22, 2007 06:36 PMwhat about colored breaklevers? Posted by: j at September 23, 2007 02:10 AMStock or limited? Posted by: milford at September 23, 2007 08:00 AMThe stock Black Evolver 2 brakes are anodized. The smooth surface of the brake arms is what possibly gives them a shine. If a surface appears dull, there is a chance the surface was shot peened before anodizing. Hope that helps.
