Posted by: yaR at September 18, 2007 09:36 AMTired of bent front axles? Who agrees with me that we need 14mm front hubs (they can be pretty light when made right) and 14mm fork dropouts!? Who wants 14mm directors!? I DO! Why did they do away with 14mm fronts? For a couple ounces? Or to make less fork variations? Odyssey should just make 14mm forks that come with 3/8" adaptors in case you wanna run a wimpy axle. The old Kore fork was like that. Posted by: yaR at September 18, 2007 09:47 AMBEN WARD IS THE BEST LETS SEE THAT GUYS DIALED BIKE. THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN GET IT UP ON HERE. Posted by: ALLEN at September 18, 2007 10:39 AMIm ordering these today! Posted by: ALex at September 18, 2007 01:54 PMi like the color but you should make them with all your bars intead of the ridiculously high bars i for one done run bars that high and i dont think i ever will again but yeah i really like the color maybe if you made rims or civilians that color it would be even better oh maybe forks too Posted by: mistah fabb at September 18, 2007 02:39 PMdo these match the lost dutchman frame any good?? Posted by: brandon at September 18, 2007 03:03 PMWhen are youll gonna put out the PLEDALS? Im so anxious for those things, and what about the plegs? Posted by: Gabe at September 18, 2007 04:17 PMbrandon. they match the lost dutchman perfectly ( its the same paint number) and there are rims and forks also. ( if you remember back to my bike check. ) word. to the guy whos winging about 3/8th axles, go and buy some butcher poverty hub if you're not smooth enough ride a fucking strong solid 3/8th axle, they did away with them because if you need that extra butchness or you need symetry you may as well go but some 45oz forks and a 15oz front hub, 3/8th is the present and the future and i dont know anyone who is tired of bent front axles, becuase unless you purposly yard sale your bike, 3/8th work fine. Posted by: tom at September 18, 2007 09:24 PMthe marmosets axle is just as strong for pegs.... saves weight and u dont have any axle sticking out.... pretty good design.. im runnin one right now with a gland 3 and it works awesome.... smiths are feeling sooo good Posted by: bro-g at September 18, 2007 11:43 PMTo TOM, fuck lumberjacks ride slams. Posted by: bob at September 24, 2007 10:53 AMhow do bars go to 14mm axles
i personally dont like these bars they are pointless if arron ross can hop higher than everyone and doesnt run these bars what is that saying? hahaha and if seth kinbrough can bunnyhop 41 inches with bars that ar 7-7.25 inches high then again what does that say? you dont need big bars to help you ride your bike i mean if your 6 foot 5 then yeah they will help not put stress on your back but if your shorter than 6 foot then why run big bars i say run bars that are your size itll help you with your control and your style big bars are a myth note* this is my opinion Posted by: mistah fabb at September 27, 2007 07:04 PM |
