I had a fit frame, got rid of it when the downtube taco´d on me on a concrete ledge. Posted by: wethefeeble at June 1, 2007 11:17 AMi swear i see pegs up on it. i don't seeing why you would get rid of a frame just cause you got some taco's on it... (sarcasm) did you run the down tube directly into the ledge? Posted by: p0kertr0n/3mta3 at June 1, 2007 11:52 AMOops. Good catch. pegs edited. Posted by: Jim B at June 1, 2007 11:56 AMgenerous. finally a chase bike check thank u Posted by: dertjmper at June 1, 2007 12:17 PMchase got pegs i've never seen him with any except for that one part on fit life where he's icepicking to 270 in nice bike though what's with the huge bars these days? Posted by: Casey at June 1, 2007 12:23 PMthe bike check says "jpeg lighters", so yeah they are there. as for the bars, they have a different sweep and higher rise, as well as being wider than the average bar, and many people like them at the moment. although with that fit stem, the actual rise is lower than running them in say a top/bottom load stem. the overall rise of the bars with that stem is probably around 7.5 to 7.75" due to how far the stem drops. in a past bike check or something in ride-bmx, he said he likes a taller gear ratio, hence the odd size sprocket. Posted by: bikedog at June 1, 2007 01:22 PMis chase running trailmix? Posted by: jungo at June 1, 2007 02:44 PMlucky kids gettin free bikes from hawk nd aitken ! Posted by: Elliott at June 2, 2007 12:52 AMhmm finally someone who doesnt run 28'' bars hahaha he probably cut them to 26'' anyways its a pretty sweet bike i like it Posted by: mistah fabb at June 2, 2007 02:57 AMTacos happen to everyone its happened to me again but with the frame I´m running now all I have to show are chips on the paint job. Thats a quality Frame and I didnt spend more than 300 bucks this time. Hey JimB. how much time does a product "lets say Plegs" take in production¿?¿ Posted by: wethefeeble at June 2, 2007 07:17 AM "Hey JimB. how much time does a product "lets say Plegs" take in production¿?¿" ^^^ thats exactly what ive been trying to ask for a while now but it never came out right, genious. hey jim b can't you at least give us just a few pictures of plegs maybe possibly in white it doesn't seem like too much to ask from the customers Posted by: Casey at June 2, 2007 10:46 AMis it just me or are those bars a little forward compared to having them in line with the forks. not that it matters Posted by: lc at June 3, 2007 02:44 AMPLEGS PLEGS PLEGS PLEGS PLEGS, wow..plegs=crack for some of you guys. i'll stick with my ti pegs. for some reason i was expecting more from chase...with the bikes nowadays that is kinda boring somehow. great parts on it, but still boring for me. Posted by: bc at June 3, 2007 06:35 AM-bc^^ to be addicted to crack you gotta have some first and nobody has had plegs before, so pegs and crack arent related, but how long does it take to make a 4inch pipe of "special" plastic, jim b should explain. g-sport updated thier site not to long ago, but it was about some stupid bolts and ti pegs arent worth it unless you ride park...... or dirt.?. Posted by: kirk at June 3, 2007 09:27 AMkirk i think ti pegs r better than plastic look at the price of plastic then ti the only reason y plegs r good cuz u can grind basically anything Posted by: dertjmper at June 3, 2007 12:13 PMpegs r cheaper than ti pegs!! duhh dertjumper deffinatly not one of his bests Posted by: sam at June 3, 2007 05:44 PMHEY FORGET ABOUT ALL THAT STUFF. BIKE CHECK ^^ HAHAHA Posted by: RUBEN at June 3, 2007 06:57 PMif you look at the picture of chases bike on the fit website from before his bars are just about in line with his headtube in terms of height, so with a spacer your bars are dropped but not by three quarters of an inch so he would not go from 8.25 rise to 7.5 or even 7.75, they are probably at the least 8 Posted by: Pat From Chi at June 4, 2007 07:42 AMim getting pleg fever! notice how ti-pegs have almost vanished? check out demolition dum chucks if you want plastic they don't make extra sleeves but they might work for you until plegs come out Posted by: Casey at June 4, 2007 03:09 PMthe plastic never wears away on plastic pegs, i mean it does but it takes about a year Posted by: jungo at June 4, 2007 03:20 PMiv run plastic pegs for years PLEGS will own all, thats all there is to it. demolition sucks anyways. except for their seatpost. -JIM b i have an old(04,05?) pair of "pro racing forks" and the dropouts bent on them due to pegs. it does not say 41 thermal on them but they costed me 110$ at my bike shop brand new and i didnt send the card in either, do you think i can get them warrantied, or not? Posted by: kirk at June 4, 2007 03:39 PMSend them in and we will replace them. kirk it doesn't really matter about how good demolition is they're like the only choice for plastic pegs and you're gonna be waiting for a few months on plegs so why not they're cheap and they last forever i haven't seen hoffman plastic pegs but i prefer demolition over hoffman for parts Posted by: Casey at June 4, 2007 05:33 PMold bike was better...too plan for me.....pegs are pegs....just get light ones or ones u like? Posted by: timcinnati at June 4, 2007 09:21 PMjungo the demo pegs suck balls!!!! they crack so eff'in fast... if you want plastic pegs so bad go to Flatland forks when Posted by: Daniil at June 5, 2007 02:35 AMchris or jim b, can chase hawk do a tailwhip? i neva seen him do one Posted by: olly 1 at June 6, 2007 04:06 PMme neither but i'm sure he can Posted by: Casey at June 6, 2007 04:08 PMhey chase when are you comin to california? you should deffinately hit up san jose there is soooooo much good street and some cool parks Posted by: mistah fabb at June 6, 2007 09:53 PMchase! come out with some more colours for your frame, like gloss black or sumthin nice instead of these flat/matt colours, haha and yeh a guy from the local park snapped his wombolts in half, clean snap, just thought id say Posted by: Calum at June 7, 2007 03:17 AMsweet bike,nt rly diggin the gips, but rad parts, lookin cool boi Posted by: stu at June 7, 2007 05:33 AMi think everyone should stop complaining about plegs theyll come out when they come out chill Posted by: tyler at June 7, 2007 08:43 AM |
