chase got pegs i've never seen him with any except for that one part on fit life where he's icepicking to 270 in nice bike though what's with the huge bars these days?

the bike check says "jpeg lighters", so yeah they are there.

as for the bars, they have a different sweep and higher rise, as well as being wider than the average bar, and many people like them at the moment. although with that fit stem, the actual rise is lower than running them in say a top/bottom load stem. the overall rise of the bars with that stem is probably around 7.5 to 7.75" due to how far the stem drops.

in a past bike check or something in ride-bmx, he said he likes a taller gear ratio, hence the odd size sprocket.

if you look at the picture of chases bike on the fit website from before his bars are just about in line with his headtube in terms of height, so with a spacer your bars are dropped but not by three quarters of an inch so he would not go from 8.25 rise to 7.5 or even 7.75, they are probably at the least 8

ti pegs suck ass no matter what.
i am running ti pegs, i am totally unhappy w/them.
i have found no advantage to them, they wear down tooooo quick, they make ledges and coping sticky. i got mine for free, if i had paid for them, i would probably be cursing, writing all in caps and making myself sound like a complete a-hole.

check out demolition dum chucks if you want plastic they don't make extra sleeves but they might work for you until plegs come out

the plastic never wears away on plastic pegs, i mean it does but it takes about a year

-JIM b i have an old(04,05?) pair of "pro racing forks" and the dropouts bent on them due to pegs. it does not say 41 thermal on them but they costed me 110$ at my bike shop brand new and i didnt send the card in either, do you think i can get them warrantied, or not?

kirk it doesn't really matter about how good demolition is they're like the only choice for plastic pegs and you're gonna be waiting for a few months on plegs so why not they're cheap and they last forever i haven't seen hoffman plastic pegs but i prefer demolition over hoffman for parts

if you want plastic pegs so bad go to
home depot and buy some pvc pipe, cut it to
the size you need, wrap some tape around your peg to wheres it thich enough to stay on, then beat you plastic cover in to place and they will last about a month and that good when it cost you $3 for like a 6ft long pipe..
