The 'Grip

... No, not an Odyssey grip, DEFGRIP.

If you havent noticed, its been down for a bit. The easiest solution for the time being is to switch it to a .net. You can read all about it on the site.

Yeah!

So this was the culmination of our trip. Dusting for prints. As if Taj, Jimmy, Chase getting hurt, and Gary going to the hospital wasn't enough. Some low-life broke into the Odyssey Van in front of my house. They took our brand new generator, My camera(so you won't be getting any of the bike checks, and photos I had planned), Will Stroud's bike, Chad Shack's Rollerblades, Power invertor, tape adaptor, Creedence tapes, My briefcase(with my business papers), and my rug. That rug really tied the room together. Hopefully the LAPD will call me soon with some leads.

FILMING UPDATE

The crew, consisting of Jimmy Levan, Taj, Chase Hawk, Scott Foster, Gary Young, Jim Bauer, Chad Shackelford and Will Stroud have been out filming all week. I saw some impressive HD (high definition) footage last night that looked unreal.

Chase tweaked his wrist a little, but should be ok once he gives it a little rest. Him and Taj head back home today.

Jimmy will probably log in more footage this weekend.

More info, some bike checks and photos (maybe) once Jim B. gets back in the office.

Billboards

New Shirt Alert:

The Billboard.

Daytime and Nightime versions include birds and bats respectively. Daytime is a minty green color and the Nightime is black. I guess you can see that in the picture. 50/50 for better fit and color staying. Thats how I like em, I suggest you do the same.

Available on the online store.

Odyssey Giveaway!

I'm sure you've seen it in Ride BMX already but here's a link to it on Ridebmx.com.

Basically we will judge photos sent into Ride on Best Trick, Best Photo, Worst Bike. Worst bike because we will be giving the winner almost a COMPLETE NEW bike, sans frame, chain, headset. You actually get an EXTRA set of GSport Ribcage rims, All the Recent SHOOK issues, T-Shirts, and piles of stickers. In my opinion, this is of the best(and most expensive) giveaways in recent history.

Get out there with the best photographer you can find, on the crappiest bike, and shred like its the X Games. You will be rewarded.

"K" is for Kevin

Kevin Jones changed flatland forever by introducing the rolling tricks and links that would become the modern building blocks for riders everywhere.

Always up for a challenge, check out this clip of the Unibike that popped up on Myspace a while ago.

Kevin’s signature frame, the 2007 incarnation of the Big Daddy, will be out from Hoffman Bikes soon.
