Rim Strips!

Fluorescent Yellow Rim Strips*. Not the most exciting part, but an important one. Ours are durable, cheap, and the extra-wide size covers all holes and any nicks or burrs that could come in contact with the tube. I am always looking for rim strips around here, but we are always sold out. Doesn't really matter what color they are, but we try to pay attention to the details. These will be available in 2 weeks also.

*wheel not included

sweet, ill have to ride around tubeless/tireless just to show my friends how cool i am. what $5.00 and the wheel isnt inclued??!! what a rip....

i agree, i think rim strips should start coming with the rim. make sence.
what makes even more sence is to get a can of "foam space filler" from a hardware store, adapt a fix-a-flat nossle to it, and fill your tubes with foam. when it hardens, no more flats, oh yeah don't forget... im joking

Yaeh man, That wheel looks exactly like mine! The VR7!! I tell you man F#$KING ODYSSEY!!!

In the last post we were discussing the cost of the rims, and giving the rim strip away would just jack the price we are already trying to keep as low as possible.

Posted by: Jim B at November 17, 2006 01:27 PM

you can just put a couple of lairs of elelectrical tape on them and it works fine.

The wheel not being included totally sucks! :'(

what's with all the neon and flurocent colors this year? Too much of a good thing is bad. But hey...people run what they wanna run

Posted by: coopa at November 18, 2006 10:02 AM

Exactly, people do run what they want to, so why the hell even post that? The stupidity that Odyssey puts up with on a daily basis makes them my favorite company let alone their quality parts.

I'm not even a trendy dude, I ride a Fit Series One, and I have nothing bad to say about the crazy colors and whatnot. Anyone know/believe in the golden rule anymore?

Posted by: Timbo Johnson at November 18, 2006 12:57 PM

Well not the golden rule... maybe that thing Bambi said about keeping your mouth shut if you don't have anything good to say.

Posted by: fatharryguy at November 19, 2006 10:59 AM

when is the soonest date a $1,000,000 sprocket will be available.

my sprocket now is cracked, and every tooth is shark-finned. I dont want to buy something and have the million dollar come out a day later.

Posted by: joe at November 19, 2006 11:40 AM

I have never heard of a vr7. There is no such thing from Odyssey. Unless you are talking about a Race Wheel which is Race Vandero/7KA rim. I've never heard it refered to as vr7.

MDSprocket is still in production. I have no dates as of now.

Posted by: Jim B at November 20, 2006 10:31 AM

Yeah man, It´s like this Jim B. I have the vandero race laced to a 7KA that´s why I put VR7,.. if I would have laced it to a vandero with the solid axle then it´s the V7. and when I bought my son his front hub he told me he also wanted pegs so the Vandero. I don´t run pegs so the Vandero Race, Oh see there it is the VR!
