Posted by: joe at October 26, 2006 08:02 PMhaha, Jim you seem so enthusiastic to do this for Jeff *sarcasm*. I could use some wombolts. :P Posted by: Greg at October 27, 2006 06:13 AMThats great that you give free parts to someone who probably got that whole bike for free and most other things for discount or free. What about hooking up an actual rider that has to shell out lots of money to keep their bike running. Posted by: major at October 27, 2006 07:24 AMI love reading the comments on here. So entertaining. If they "hook(ed) an actual rider (up)" they would set a horrible precedent and everyone would be begging to get parts for free. This is getting odyssey publicity in exchange for parts, as well as helping out a friend. What could you offer if they gave you parts? Do they have any reason to give things to someone they don't know at all for free? Besides, they do help out "actual riders". It's called their team. Posted by: VxD at October 27, 2006 08:50 AMIts the fact that he would probably get those parts for free or deep discount to begin with. They shouldn't act as if they're "hooking" him up or something, hes a buddy and they're just using this probably as an excuse to give him new parts. I just think its a little messed up that people within the industry seem to get all the free stuff from different angles when they'd get it for free regardless. I wasn't implying every little shit should get free stuff, it'd just be more meaningful.
