Posted by: Daniil at May 9, 2006 06:05 PMthat might be the best and craziest looking paint i've ever seen on a frame, that is so awesome, congrats jim, if there was a prize to win you'd get it, because that is seriously rad! when did you decide to ditch the brakes? Posted by: cale at May 9, 2006 06:31 PMdoes the v2 elementary have helicoil instead od the nut?? i think it is better with hardware..i wouldnt trust all of that force in a helicoil... Nice choice with the big tires f/r, that's the way to go. Posted by: abcd at May 9, 2006 10:56 PMoh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hey, Nice bike!! When are the aitken tires out? Posted by: aleks at May 10, 2006 12:47 AMthats an awesome colour'd bike, i want that frame! Posted by: besty at May 10, 2006 03:45 AMwhats the process on how they paint that pattern on there? Posted by: james at May 10, 2006 03:55 AMthat is probably one of the ugliest paint jobs ever. HOWEVER, setting aside the eye sore of the paint, its an extremely nice bike Posted by: Brad at May 10, 2006 05:12 AMI also had a radial laced front wheel but, after an aborted high footplant, the bike landed on the front wheel and the spokes pulled away the hub flange... Interesting think is that, just before it happened, I exchanged a couple of emails with George French about the disadvantages of radial lacing. He warned me exactly of that. Damn George, you're always right... ;-) Antao Posted by: Antao at May 10, 2006 05:37 AMbest bike ever.. Posted by: g. at May 10, 2006 06:26 AMhow long did it take to do the frame, is it hand painted??? Posted by: guy at May 10, 2006 06:58 AMWow. nice to see there are still true individuals roaming this trend infested activity. how well does the powder coatingwork while braking? Posted by: goooooooooo at May 10, 2006 05:19 PMHow the hell did you do that. For the love of God you must tell. I can work out how it's done if it's hand sprayed but if it's powder coat then that is the work of true Geneous. I salute you sir. Posted by: dribble at May 10, 2006 05:23 PMJim Bauer is the reason I get out of bed every afternoon. The brown seat looks kind of weird, but whatever. RADABONZICAL! Posted by: Elliott at May 10, 2006 05:32 PMYou always come up with a crazy looking bike! Posted by: D Dawg at May 10, 2006 05:37 PMwild Posted by: iowan biker at May 10, 2006 05:45 PMThat is the sweetest bike I have ever seen! Another has come to the DARK side (Brakeless). On another note, I have the same bars and when i push down on the ends of the grip tube they flex like crazy, what's up? Posted by: Michael at May 10, 2006 05:47 PMwhen are the aitken tires coming out? whats the diff between the v2 and a regular elementary? Posted by: zach at May 11, 2006 11:17 AMWow. I didn't think I would get this many comments. OK- Aitken tires are in production as we speak. the V2 has a helicoil and tounge/grooved wedges. Posted by: Jim B at May 11, 2006 02:53 PMso is the V2 lighter and when will it come out? Posted by: pimmel at May 11, 2006 03:27 PMoh nice. Tip of the hat to you sir. That looks like a lot of hardwork that really payed off. I love your creativity. Awesome is the only word for what you do. Posted by: Ronibus at May 11, 2006 06:28 PMHi, I'm sure you're trying to do your best about the Wombolts, that you want to make sure that everyting is top quality and that it takes time. But, can you give us a simple reply like "we´re almost there" or "unfortunately it's going to take longer than we expected"? Posted by: Antao at May 12, 2006 04:03 AMMy bike is hanging on the wall without a crank because the previous one (non Odyssey) cracked. Yesterday I went to a BMX store web site, put a crank on the shopping basket and had the mouse cursor on the checkout button for a long time. I didn't click because I would hate to order it and, on the next day, visit your web site to find out that the Wombolts were ready to ship... Posted by: Antao at May 12, 2006 04:04 AMi seen the wombolts in staff bmx ad in ride yesterday in my friends Ride bmx magazine and it said call about them? what is this all about? dans doesnt even gott em Posted by: mang at May 12, 2006 10:19 AMWe're hoping for a late June release on the Wombolt crank, but I can't guarantee that. I apologize profusely for the wait, but I can assure you that it will be worth it. Chris/Odyssey Posted by: Chris Cotsonas at May 12, 2006 11:00 AMyou know what, you guys at odyssey are a bunch of as*ho*les. Because I remeber when the wombolts where suposed to be coming out APRIL. And form there on you kept pushing the release date farther back so all the people that need or want new cranks would wait for the wombolts. Well I don't think that that is very "cool". Are we assholes for waiting until a product is truly ready before selling it to the public? I wanted the cranks done in April also, but that date has come and gone...so what can I do about now? There are a lot of variables that are playing a roll here. We are trying our absolute best to get them out as fast as possible. Sorry for the let down...but as I've already said, the wait will be worth it. Chris/Odyssey Posted by: Chris Cotsonas at May 12, 2006 01:38 PMYou guys should make some parts with that crazy tile pattern I would buy that shit up quick Posted by: Seth at May 12, 2006 03:19 PMYeah man, My neighbor got tired of waiting for the wombolts' so he bought some powerbites and he paid 125 bucks I think thats' a sweet deal! Plus my son has had powerbites for years' now and no problems what so ever, I on the other hand opted for the 41 cranks' and they kick some serious ass! Posted by: LOSFLYBIKES at May 13, 2006 02:58 PM
Thanks a lot for the reply!... Only immature kids can think that producing quality products is easy and schedules never slip... :-P Antao Posted by: Antao at May 15, 2006 10:28 AMbring back the hutch! Posted by: tom at May 15, 2006 11:27 AM |
