Sunny California

Matt came out to California to escape the last of Utah winter, and caught the last of our "winter". 75 degrees in the parking lot. Sun burned as hell. weird.

He is clearing that boulder, by the way.

If he could get that rear ski to stop flipping back, he would have pulled this first try, every try. To the pedals whip. Back to the drawing board.

This would be sweet.

Rams. There were like 20, but the camera died after this pic, and then I almost fell in the river. That would have sucked if I fell in, and Matt had no batteries.

If matt attaches a spring to the chainstay and on the back ski, it would be horizontal during whips. Hope it workes:)

Posted by: Aleks at April 16, 2006 01:41 AM

And how is it going with the wombolts?

www.hansonbikes.com

theres a link to a company that sells kits to make a ski bike... yes it is expensive. these ski's also use the idea of the spring as mentioned above by another kid... so i guess it works.

for odyssey to make a ski's it would probably cost them more money and cost people in return more money (the amount of volume and cost to make product, etc etc.). i mean i would love to see odyssey ski's for bikes, but i don't see it happening.

odyssey keeps doing amazing stuff, i love how this company has grown.

Matt has the cranks set so he can spin or lock them.

No New Wombolts info.

Mat has a few ideas for ski leveling.

I'm going to try and get some more ski bike brackets made by next winter, the ones I made took me like 50 hours. Next ones will be a little different. Most ski bikes I've seen are more like mountain bikes than a BMX. Nobody wants to pay a bunch of money for a ski bike either, lift tickets cost enough already. Good times........shred the gnar bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
