M7 WHEEL

A few web savvy kids have spotted mentions of this new wheel and have been emailing us.

Well, we will be receiving the new M7 wheels within 2 weeks or so.

The M7 front wheel consists of:

G-Sport Marmoset hub (9 oz)
Odyssey 7K-A rim (17.0 oz)
Odyssey brand specialty grade spokes (not the normal ones that come with our current wheels)
36 hole only
Chrome or Hard Anodize Black

This wheel combines one of the strongest and lightest front hubs available with the first 7000 series bmx rim ever offered, which is also lightweight and durable, but you guys already know that since these parts are some of our most popular.

The M7 wheel is ideal for racing and street/trails equally, and most of our team and flow guys are on this wheel or have requested one. It is super-light, I'm talking racing light. It is also super-strong. Feel free to use pegs on this wheel.

The M7 will also come to you in a new redesigned box (pictured above). Not a big deal to you (except that it looks cool and has a handle), but George figured out that by eliminating the negative space that normal square boxes use, we can actually fit more wheels on a shipping pallet and stock them in our warehouse more efficiently, and save waste, thus the enviroment.

Contact your favorite shop for the M7 wheel.

Posted by: I LOVE THIS RIM SO MUCH I WOULD FUCK IT INTO SUBMISSION at March 30, 2006 01:10 AM

im not the only one waiting for the ribcage. everyone asks about it in every dailyword update and they dont wanna let us know. ive been waiting and been asking for a date or an "idunno" but nothing. very unprofessional. i recently got a macneil front hub with dt spokes and dt prolock nipples laced to a primo balance 7k rim and its hella fine. guess ima get that primo 7k rim for the rear. they go ahead and post shit on a whole new wheel but still nothing on the ribcage rim. cant believe ive wasted all this time asking for a fuckin date.

Posted by: bikerJ at March 30, 2006 03:39 AM

are you able to use dropout spacers on these like the ones that just look like a little hat? so i can convert them from 3/8 to 14?

Posted by: yo at March 30, 2006 03:59 AM

i got a marmoset laced to supra b and its light as hell, my friend and i took out front wheels off to put our bike in the care, mine was waay lighter even though i had a peg and he didnt!

Posted by: cankles at March 30, 2006 04:09 AM

Yep, that wheel is the sweetest. I've been on it for a while now. And yes scott, Magnum is the most progressive indie, church death hymn, techno barking music ever, in a good way.

Posted by: Adam Banton at March 30, 2006 04:56 AM

hmm maybe i will retire my front wheel...the hub was passed down to me and its a first generation hazzard hub if i am correct..it has been through every frame ive had..all of them.

Posted by: george at March 30, 2006 06:05 AM

WOW I HAD THIS WHEEL RIGHT WHEN GSPORT CAME OUT WITH THIS HUB, I KINDA FEEL HONORED.

Posted by: DANNY at March 30, 2006 07:40 AM

Posted by: jeremy at March 30, 2006 09:03 AM

Bikerj... quit your fuckin whining man. If you read back a few entries it say when the Ribcage will be available.

The guys at Odyssey probably don't want your whining bitch ass owning any of their products...

"I want a ribcage 'coz it'll make me go higher...."

STFU BITCH! Wait your friggin' turn!

Posted by: Ben at March 30, 2006 12:34 PM

Hey Biker J. Sorry for the lack of updates on the Ribcage... I dont check here this often but you can always contact me through the G-Sport site...
Anyway if you mossey on over to the new G-Sport site you will see that we just recieved the first batch this week (48 chrome) and the 36s and Black are on their way...

I should give that Balance rim a bit of time before you rush to get another one it's a very light rim to run in back...

hey ben jus need a new wheel in the back and had my eyes set on the ribcage. been waiting forever and didnt hear nothing on it so sorry if i hurted your eyes when u read that u stupid bastard. gsport/odyssey should be proud that there are people waiting on their shit cuz they put the dope out. so boo hoo

Posted by: bikerj at March 30, 2006 02:31 PM

hey jim b!you said the previous forum about the wombolts, that they are lighter than the profile cranks with titanium axle, well i must say, even if i dont want to:BIG DEAL!those fly cranks are lighter too, and yours are not going to be better because you say so!and you said at the interbikes that they are going to be very light

Posted by: name at March 30, 2006 06:58 PM

man that wheel is off the hook!

Posted by: Adam at March 30, 2006 07:15 PM

Wow, lot of heat around here.

Ribcage. - Like George said. Its here. While only 48 Chrome came on this shipment they are here. I wanted George to get to debut them on his new site, www.gsportbmx.com. I thought that was professional. Im sure anyone who bought anything else will need a new rim soon enough.\

Wombolts. - I don't know how many times I've said this, but they are in production. All I can say id they are making them, and the more time they put into them, the better they will be.

"name"- I don't really understand your post. You seem angry, but at what? I don't have fly cranks(because they are not out yet. They showed them at interbike, do they get yelled at for not having them out yet?) so I cannot verify the weight. I have to assume but what i see that they should be similar in weight to profiles with a chromoly spindle with one of the bolts removed. We will have to weight and see. get it! weight/wait. hahaha.

Posted by: Jim B at March 30, 2006 07:34 PM

We haven't recieved these(M7) yet. So I cannot give specifc dates/weights. They should be here in 2 weeks, so make your estimates on how long it will take to get wherever you are.

I will weight it when it comes in. Mine is at home or I would weigh that one for you.

Posted by: Jim B at March 30, 2006 08:03 PM
