Fort Contest

Ryan Sher X KC Badger

The Fort Contest in Arizona went down this weekend, and it went pretty well.
I missed the Pro Dirt because I had to go to Target to buy bandages and first aid supplies for some stupid rider who went down. Pro Park went down full of riders you have never heard of but were killing it. I will hold back from a description, and hope AZ locals, riders and spectators will tell you what they thought.

Dirty Dan turned 18 and had a great time doing so in AZ.
Happy B day Dirty.

Please enlighten me on what "sucks" about our site.
I would love to hear your educated and intelligent critique.

Hey you answered back that's a start, first thing's first,.. now you know you know it takes time and money to make the best bike part's right, right, and you have that down believe me I just purchased the elem stem for my son and it installed like a dream. Ok second you have one of the best if not the best team in bmx yet your rider's page has just a few pic's and some random mumbo jumbo that's been on there for a really long time, I remember a few year's back when i first clicked on the rider's, i got all these cool vids and pic's and bio's on the majority of the team and I was amazed everytime I saw the rider's but since the new site it's been like (eh) I mean i saw the fort clip and thank's alot but I know you could do better. You guy's are ODYSSEY BMX live up to the name!

Posted by: 20"biker at November 28, 2005 10:13 PM

Man, I want to see a pic of Sher, doing both way t-downs...but with him double-exposed (or Photo-shopped) into being of one set of legs, but two upper-bodies. That would be radical. I would get your new cranks also, but after seeing something that the 'Chris' guy said once...I don't like Odyssey much. I heard that you are not rider owned either. That live up to the name stuff is stupid too.

Hey kill for a life, why dont you kill yourself!

Posted by: 20"biker dude at November 29, 2005 02:00 AM

"You're not rider owned"?

Is it 1992 again?

Nearly every company in BMX (especially component wise) has funding of some kind from an outside source...Including some that are being presented as "rider owned". The cost to mass-produce bicycle parts is massive.

If you have a problem with us, then I honestly can't imagine how you feel about some of the others.

Our intentions are to make the best products we can, and to stand behind them and support our customers to the absolute best of our ability. If you have an issue, call or e-mail us directly and we'll do the best we can to help you out.

There's 11 people working here, and everyone is passionate about what we do.

I've seen more than one "rider owned" company that has no respect for their customers.

I see, the question was 'owned' though, as in...Odyssey is not a subsidiary or part of a conglomerate.

That's right, Odyssey is not a subsidiary or part of a conglomerate. The only thing we do is BMX.

I tell you man F#!KING ODYSSEY!!!

Posted by: 20" biker dude at November 30, 2005 05:50 AM

Not to prolong this debate.but...

As much as some people are ready to jump on a company that isn't "rider owned", the same people will buy products from a MTB or generic bicycle/parts company, instead of a BMX company. funny.

Alright, question answered.

Posted by: Nose in? at November 30, 2005 11:07 PM

so um well the fort how great! Johnny Steven owns AZ and another thing dont buy eastern! In a fight between a Eastern and a Kink, the Kink definently won by breaking the Eastern.
