does anyone know were I could get a powder coating kit?

Posted by: charles at September 13, 2005 02:31 AM

Is the senior similar in size and shape to the primo balance ?

Posted by: ben at September 13, 2005 02:38 AM

you can buy the coating and spray it on yourself. the only problem is you need to bake the powdercoating. so yo need a large oven, or a kiln.
you are better off looking up a a couple of powdercoating companies in the phonebook and going with the cheaper one. most of the time when you get powdercoating back from a sprayer, it usually has what is called an orange peel surface. so plan on getting some ultrahigh grit wet sand paper and spending the day wetsanding the frame smooth. unless you get a dope powdercoater that does clean work.

all in all powdercoating will cost a bill.
