are the new civilian's gonna be available in the same gray as the new race forks?

Odyssey makes great stuff... other than hubs, im not into the hubs, I coul be nuts, but the pawl system they use is kinda lame, and im sure the 4 pawl now hold up better, but I hated the 3 pawl, too much stress made them widen from the center and snap the tips off too, the clip only lasts what a few months max, and the driver bearings always have me problems, I had 2 inner bearings blow on drivers that took out my Odyssey hubs because the pieces of the bearings went into the engagement area and the other driver bearings destroying the ring the hub engages on, and the driver, however this sint covered under warentee sadly, however that WAS the old hub style, and just because one product froma company has a problem you cant discount all their products, Odyssey has great stuff, just not the older rear hub's....

Posted by: LazelDazel at August 1, 2005 06:59 AM

Just to make it clear, that heppened to 2 hubs, not 2 bearings blowing on one hub, in one I caught it before it toasted the whole hub, but the driver bearings went south, and my axel was already way old and jacked because I got it second hand.

then I bought a new one and it went and it went good, so i supose all I need are the driver and pawl's and driver accessories, but for about 45-50 bucks after the shippuing from a mailorder I decided I would just get a LHD Seshin Cassette complete wheel that was in kick ass condition off Bikeguide.

Plus I talked to one of the Seshin guys a few times over and told him when a few things went he could count on seeing some of his products on my bike.. and I intend on getting more from Seshin, and Odyssey too..

Posted by: LazelDazel at August 1, 2005 07:05 AM

odyssey's always got the good shit, everything on my bike is odyssey except for the profile hubs and cranks
