Elementary wins Award

Pinchy cover

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Elementary Stem Wins International Design Competition

The Odyssey Elementary Stem has been awarded with a "Design Distinction" prize in the Equipment Category of I.D. Magazine's 2005 Annual Design Review issue. The stem was one of 150 winners that was recognized from a field of approximately 2000 submissions, and shares the pages with entries from Nike, Apple Computer, Adidas, BMW, Jet Blue, Burton Snowboards and more. The July/August 2005 issue of I.D. is on shelves at major book sellers now.

From I.D. Magazine:

"Since 1954, the Annual Design Review has recognized the best in product, furniture, graphic and environment design, from the iconic to the obscure. Throughout the years, this annual showcase has chronicled the evolution of design, and highlighted its impact on our material and visual culture.

Each year, the featured work is chosen by a jury of leading practitioners, who, along with I.D.'s editorial team, focus the abundance of submissions into a clear survey of the state of design. The resulting overview is published in the July/August issue of I.D. magazine — the Annual Design Review issue."

Congrats to you G, it seems as if things are doing well for you. Odyssey, thanks to you we now know the vastness of G's ideas and i feel the award is great for both of you. Really shows what can be done with a little thinking. Props to Odyssey, G-sport, and all the people behind the scenes who make shit happen for the better.
