Looks pretty sweet. I didn't really like the look of the old one, too bulky, great improvement.

Posted by: Krany at May 18, 2005 03:48 PM

Jim, jim, jim come on now. If you guys are going to make a stem lighter why do it when you make a lighter stem then everyone else and everyone else makes a light stem than the CFN? I just makes no sense....

I must also ask how come you don't have a wheel with the reloader? I'd love to see that.

Come on jim, step up the game.

Yeah 12.4 oz. is still a little on the heavy side there are a few stem's out there that are much lighter. I mean I would buy the Elementary but my fork's steerer tube is cut all the way down and I'm not gonna buy another pair of forks. But I am gonna buy a lighter stem and I'm digging on the Jump Off stem so like I said I research and I buy what I like and sometimes it's not Odyssey but 75% of the time it is.

Posted by: LOS FLY BIKES at May 18, 2005 09:20 PM

there should be a contest to see whos hanging the furthest from odyssey's nuts.

Posted by: tmoney at May 19, 2005 12:15 AM

WHAT THE WHAT is that supposed to mean?

Are you tripping on what a side pipe is, cause I am, and how Dirty Dan called his signiture frame that!!

Posted by: FATGUY at May 19, 2005 12:23 AM

hey fat guy. not everyone is a weight whore, and some skeptics (myself not included) don't trust the elementry yet. the CFN has replacable nuts so its worth the extra once over some other company's stem, if u were really that worried about it.

Posted by: Tron at May 19, 2005 10:17 AM

iduno i still prefer running all the fit series 2 stem its light and flip flop so its perfect for any rider.
keep up with the good work odyssey

Posted by: pete at May 19, 2005 03:31 PM

i think you guys should make gold or dark blue anodized rims, in addition to the red and black. id pick either one of those colors up in like 20 seconds flat.

Posted by: andrew at May 19, 2005 03:47 PM

they no longer make red rims just black now

Posted by: Adam at May 19, 2005 06:32 PM

Why dont american companies learn from japenese ones?

Posted by: FATGUY at May 19, 2005 06:44 PM

my knees suddenly hurt...

Posted by: andrew at May 19, 2005 09:41 PM

I'm not a weight whore. I just miss the old CFN, why didnt you just improve the bolt design on that one?

Posted by: FATGUY at May 20, 2005 01:07 AM

i dont like the new cfn. i think the original chock fulla nuts was wayyyyyy better
