How long would the Frequency G tires last for the every day street rider?(number of months, maybe) I don't do fufanus or anything that puts a hole lot of pressure on the casing, but I weigh in at 195lbs. They look and sound nice. Posted by: Tedthepunk at March 12, 2004 04:34 PMSounds like a 'piece of string' scenario... Posted by: Dao (Australia represent) at March 12, 2004 09:17 PMi think im going to try these out, even if they are flatland tires... Posted by: Michael Festa at March 14, 2004 12:25 AMhey would you guys be able to post tire weights on your website. Tires make a huge difference in how your bike handles because of rotational mass. That and you'd be one of the few companies so more people would buy your tires! man there just tires but i can see why they make a huge difference. what are some good back tires for street. i mean alot of street. right now i run primo walls but their wearing down. check you my site and tell me what u think. Posted by: jackass at March 15, 2004 01:23 AMI know that you guys used to make a headset but try and get another one going (you have every part needed for a bike exept a frame and headset) Posted by: MakeShift at March 15, 2004 10:29 AMThat tire is badass what sizes does it come in?? Posted by: MakeShiftBMX at March 15, 2004 10:31 AMlooks alot like the old ACS RL tyre....bootleg?? props to the evil ninja Posted by: mr hankey at March 15, 2004 06:22 PMhmmmm i think i mite need to try one of these Posted by: bonerman at March 15, 2004 07:08 PMThe resemblance to the RL Edge was intentional. We've never claimed that it's an original design. Click on February 2004 in the "archive" section (to the right) and scroll down to "Frequency G Tires - Re-designed by Chase Gouin" for more information on it. The tires are available in 1.85 only right now. Other sizes will be out at a later date. Chris/Odyssey Posted by: Chris Cotsonas at March 15, 2004 07:23 PMHey chris, which is the toughest street tire from Odyssey? Posted by: Tedthepunk at March 15, 2004 09:07 PMgood tires which is the best for street? Posted by: BayMXBandit at March 16, 2004 11:08 AMThe Path and the Frequency G are almost equally suitable for street use. It would depend on your preferences. The Path is probably a bit more durable, due to its taller (thicker) tread block height. Chris/Odyssey Posted by: Chris Cotsonas at March 16, 2004 12:25 PMThanks Chris, now I know what's good to get. Posted by: Tedthepunk at March 16, 2004 03:38 PMi want a 3 inch wide tire... Posted by: Joe B. at March 16, 2004 10:01 PMhey headset dude, maybe odyssey doesnt make headsets because they havent found a way to improve them. it seems to me they actually think about something before they make it, they dont just fire shit off just so they have everything out there. im sure if someone finds a way to improve it, theyll make it, because whats the point of selling the same crappy part as everyone else? Posted by: bemo at March 16, 2004 10:01 PMhey bemo maybe they are waiting to see what happens with the internal headset wave that's happening and then they'll make a better one of those. Posted by: bikedog at March 17, 2004 01:52 PMActually, odyssey used to have a headset exactly the same as the solid, except it was for threaded forks. I think I might pick one up (there's currently three for sale on ebay) and modify it to work on a non-threaded fork Posted by: Nate at March 17, 2004 05:25 PMhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3666698174&category=48842 ^^^^^^^^ Don't front on the old Barrio. Posted by: Dean Blackburn sXe at March 26, 2004 03:49 PMNice job on these tires Chase! i want to pick up a pair but im in need of a few dollars at the moment. Lookin forward to riding with you again Posted by: Corey at March 26, 2004 09:47 PMThis looks like a pretty bomb tire. So here you have the evidence of the senses reinforced by the entirely separate evidence of a vast independent process of mathematical reasoning.
