How long is the video? Posted by: Jordan at December 16, 2003 01:28 PMApprox 30 min Posted by: Jim at December 16, 2003 01:44 PMwhere can i buy the video from? Posted by: Hunter at December 16, 2003 01:55 PMI watched it the other night for the first time since the premire. It was way better than i remembered it from the premire, i forgot a lot of stuff. The quality of the filming is really really good. Rich Hirsch did one hell of a job. I think Scott Foster and Jim Cielenski have the best parts, but Gary Young and Aitken's are really good too. Posted by: Kyle at December 16, 2003 02:13 PMOnly 30 mins, I think I'll be buying the Macneil vid instead... way better riders on there too, freimuth, ruden, Jay, Whitton Posted by: Dean at December 16, 2003 02:56 PMhow good is the aitken part is it as good or better than the square-one wide awake nitemare part?? Posted by: kink4life&kinkbird at December 16, 2003 02:59 PMThat sounded bad, I'm sure the video is amazing, I mean Banton and Hirsch are two of my favorite riders, I just like videos to be a bit longer, thats all... Posted by: Dean at December 16, 2003 03:00 PMruben is on t1 now he has been off macneil for a while now.you gotta stay on the horse meow. Posted by: dirty dan at December 16, 2003 03:44 PM30 min ... ! It's short , I think ... but if the riding is great ... :o) wait and see . i said the same thing. 30 minutes sounds short, but the video feels just right. the video is not too long where it starts to get boring, and it is not too short where you're left saying "thats it". there is also riding and fun stuff in the credits and the extra footage including the making of the cielencki ad and a Beringer part, so you will be nicely entertained for a while. enjoy. Posted by: Nuno/Odyssey at December 16, 2003 04:31 PMIs the matt b part good Posted by: ramen at December 16, 2003 05:02 PMim deffinatly getting the video...was any of it shot at woodward cause i remember seeing jim gettin filmed doin a nollie 180 to luc-e grind or somethin...i know it was damn cool to watch him do his runs... I hope the odyseey video rocks though. there are so many good =riders on the team Posted by: Chris at December 16, 2003 06:51 PMcant wait to see it... Posted by: keith at December 16, 2003 09:56 PMjust curious. when will the odyssey site be updated? and those camo bars and forks. will you guys ever make any of those available to the public? or at least the bars... Posted by: riderofbike at December 16, 2003 10:21 PMah ha, i see that the odyssey stamp is on the side, just like the one in the ad... If they spent as much time on the video as they did the cover, its gotta be good. I mean, The odssey video on the building, god damn... Unless its real >:( Posted by: Joe B. at December 16, 2003 10:42 PMObviously there's an Odyssey Video store out there, Joe B. Come on, use that noggin... Posted by: chris at December 17, 2003 11:59 AMthe site will be updated soon. sometime after christmas i beleive. the tree camo bars and forks will be available to the public. the cover is a real photo. matt beringer does have a part. in fact, he is in the video alot. he is in the friends section, he is the "friend" in atikens part, and he filmed some stuff real quick for a bonus section part. Posted by: Nuno/Odyssey at December 17, 2003 12:29 PMcant wait to get this one it was good in vegas but I was distracted by the $2 margaritas and I dont reall remember the whole thing from what is in my memory it's good Posted by: tjohnson at December 17, 2003 02:41 PMman if you all want to know "how good" it is, go buy it, man all of you are annoying, its an odyssey video, what riders do you think are gonna be in it, (not to all of you) im in skool rite now, so im bored, thats why i replied, imma go ride my bike after, and buy the video, just for scott, adam, and jims part, later riders. Posted by: jérémy at December 31, 2004 08:39 AMIf biologists have ignored self organization, it is not because self ordering is not pervasive and profound. It is because we biologists have yet to understand how to think about systems governed simultaneously by two sources of order, Yet who seeing the snowflake, who seeing simple lipid molecules cast adrift in water forming themselves into cell like hollow lipid vesicles, who seeing the potential for the crystallization of life in swarms of reacting molecules, who seeing the stunning order for free in networks linking tens upon tens of thousands of variables, can fail to entertain a central thought, if ever we are to attain a final theory in biology, we will surely, surely have to understand the commingling of self organization Nannobacteria are very small living creatures in the 0.05 to 0.2 micrometer range. In this review by their discoverer,it is conjectured that nannobacteria run most of the earth surface chemistry and form most of the world biomass. Posted by: poster at January 21, 2005 04:54 PMFor it is esteemed a kind of dishonour unto learning to descend to inquiry or meditation upon matters mechanical, except they be such as may be thought secrets, rarities, and special subtilities, which humour of vain supercilious arrogancy is justly derided in Plato. But the truth is, they be not the highest instances that give the securest information, as may well be expressed in the tale of the philosopher, that while he gazed upwards to the stars fell into the water, for if he had looked down he might have seen the stars in the water, but looking aloft he could not see the water in the stars. Posted by: human growth hormone at January 25, 2005 04:57 PMThe men of experiment are like the ant, they only collect and use, the reasoners resemble spiders, who make cobwebs out of their own substance. But the bee takes the middle course, it gathers its material from the flowers of the garden and field, but transforms and digests it by a power of its own. Not unlike this is the true business of philosophy, for it neither relies solely or chiefly on the powers of the mind, nor does it take the matter which it gathers from natural history and mechanical experiments and lay up in the memory whole, as it finds it, but lays it up in the understanding altered and disgested. Posted by: human growth hormone at January 26, 2005 06:44 AMBy means of prolonged processes of mathematics, entirely separate from the senses, astronomers are able to calculate when an eclipse will occur. They predict by pure reason that a black spot will pass across the sun on a certain day. You go and look, and your sense of sight immediately tells you that their calculations are vindicated. So here you have the evidence of the senses reinforced by the entirely separate evidence of a vast independent process of mathematical reasoning. By the time most scientists have reached age thirty they are trapped by their own expertise. They have invested so much effort in one particular field that it is often extremely difficult, at that time in their careers, to make a radical change.
