We have some new cables for all of you guys out there who love to skid, fuf, abubaca and brake dance. Our Linear Slic Kables now come in pink, purple and watermelon.
They just arrived in our warehouse so they’ll be shipping soon and should be available at your favorite bike shops and mail orders in 2-3 weeks.
a few years back i had problems with linear slic kables blowing out at the ends, middle, and everywhere between. it wasn’t because of bad installation, but after only a few months they would wear out. have they gotten more reliable since then? my WTP Vector cable of two years has finally shit the bed…i checked out the braided gold one or whatever and it seemed nice…sorry for calling it out but i was just wondering

Hey Jake, there has been some running changes on them ever since they were introduced so whatever issues you may have had before are most likely addressed by now.
If you end up having to trim the cable down from its original length, make sure the cut is smooth and use the supplied silver end caps to keep the ends from blowing.
I’ve had mine for well over a year and a half now and they haven’t ’caused a single problem for me.

I always made sure to use cable cutters from the local shop, it was probably just from me falling a lot and having the cable wrap around the sharp edges of my stem. thanks for the actual response man.
Yeah, I’ve run odyssey linear cables for awhile now and they last me at least a year always, sometimes two. Like Jake mentioned, use good cable cutters or I even use a dremel which cuts it nice and clean.
what colors do the break cables and can u order off of the website and do u still have the lite blu break leavers

I often have trouble with pulling the little barrel shaped thing that goes into the lever off. I’ve done it on stolen, shadow, and odyssey cables. Maybe I just pull too hard.

So i ride brakless, have for a few years, but umm yeah i got my new bike a few weeks ago anddesided to leave the brakes on. I ordered and shit load of odyssey brakes and the slick cable but then cancled and went to brakless again. I can stand gyro, but i cant give up my tailwsips, bar spins and endo 360′s neither.
i been rockin the same cable for years just put it this way since the glow in the dark cables been out and still have it on my bike there a smooth cable way smooth since i put the stainless steel inner cable in it
