they are made for flatland. so use hem if ur flatland. if u dont then dont. Flanges were made for a reason, just like the place where u can cut them off is there for a reason. I ride flangeless, because its easier to catch my bars while the bar spins. and they cut up my thumbs.

they’re great, i dont ride flatland, but i love the flange idea, it looks great.
