» G-Sport advert

Here is G-Sport’s latest advert, as seen on page 177 of Ride UK #128. It’s their annual photo issue and filled with eye candy from cover to cover. Also, if you haven’t done so already, you can stalk George through his Twitter.

ive never had any problems rounding alloy nipples. but then again im not a dumb ass who feels the need to re-invent the spoke nipple.

G-Sport haters suck my balls. If I could afford a full G wheelset, I’d sure as hell be rocking one.

    Sheldon Brown is dead asshole.

I really like the idea of this design and it’s intention, but I wish they came in 12mm nipples instead of the longer 16mm. Long nipples create a greater bend at the spoke/nipple junction because of the shortened distance from rim to hub. Shortening the nipple would also have the desired affect of reducing the weight by about the same amount.
still, my next build will be with these spokes and nipples!!! George and Odyssey are great… keep it up!

The nipples work Great! Almost impossible to round them off. At 16mm long however they seem to require slightly shorter spokes than most spoke calc programs would suggest. Try using spokes about 2mm shorter than recommended.

I’ve been telling people for the past five years that I can’t fix their wheels if their nipples are messed up.

Can I have some for free?

So I need new spokes or cut my spokes to run these?
