Some of you eagle-eyed the Tanwall tires in those riding pics that Jim posted from the other day, and emails/comments began.
Above is a better pic of my bike with the Tanwall tires so you can check them out. The front is a knobby Aitken, and the rear is a Path. The label on the tire is not right, so disregard that.
These Tanwall tires are being made to “look” like old school skinwalls, but are way more durable as the casings coincide with what we are offering now. Actual skinwalls wouldn’t hold up very well these days, but the Tanwalls will.
We haven’t said the Tanwalls will never come in Klyte. Klyte tires have only come out in the Frequency G so far in America. If after some time people seem to like the Klytes and people also seem to like the Tanwall tires, maybe they can hook up and have some Tanwall/ Klyte spawn. Until then, Tanwalls will come in Plyte.

if you would just make path, dirt path, and aitken tires in klyte im sure everybody would be all over them, i mean who wants to try out a klyte in a flatland tread only???
Those look really awesome. I have a slight feeling KC Badger’s white wall custom painted tires sparked the idea for this one. I might buy some for my soon to be bike.

Back in the olden-days, most decent tires were skinwalls so they looked tan on the side. I guess everything comes full circle. Will they be available for old guys, like me, who ride cruisers?

We haven’t said the Tanwalls will never come in Klyte. Klyte tires have only come out in the Frequency G so far in America.
