You have to use a seat or you are one step closer to riding a scooter. There are many seats out there, and in Odyssey’s 25 years we have seat designs change dramatically, but almost come back to where they started back then. Plastic seats were popular in the early days because they were cheap, and BMX bikes were considered cheap. You don’t sit on a BMX seat that much, so it made sense. We have seen padded seats come into play, seatposts get super high, and seats get huge. In 2010 they are slammed lower than ever and even back to non padded versions. What goes around comes around.
