When it comes to front hubs we have 2. The classic bulletproof front hub with four bearings and a 14mm heat-treated axle called the Hazard. Four bearings and 48 hole. Talk about over built. If you are thinking about something a little more 2010, you will like the Vandero 2. The minimalist, streetable front hub that has spawned so many copies, has been completely redesigned.
The Vandero 2 is keeping with the original idea of “Less is more” (Mies Van Der Rohe). Less Axle, Less weight, and more strength. G-Sport axle technology is employed here to shave 3 oz. off the original hub, while using bigger bearings and a stronger axle. That’s really less is more. The new 3/8″ inbound axle brings the weight to 8.4 oz. with 17mm wrench flat / 6mm allen bolts. Compatible with G-Sport Volcano Bolts.
This hub is also available as part of a complete wheel, laced onto our Hazard Lite rim.
