The hub that almost every modern cassette is based on is the V3 Cassette hub . Designed and Re-designed in-house at Odyssey BMX in California. We have been making our hub, and improving it since 2001, every other hub comes second, and prospers from our improvements. The V3 has the first hollow, heat-treated, 14mm axle with 6mm Allen wrench end for easy removal and maintaience. Angled Flanges to resist spoke damage and breakage.
Improved 17mm Hardware. Four sealed bearings, 2 in the hub, 2 in the driver (9t drivers have one extra wide needle bearing). 36H or 48H versions. RHD or LHD versions. The new 3 pawl pinned driver locates the pawls for less slop and tighter ehgagements. Removable cog, and one piece driver (9t or 10t) versions available. Removeable cogs includes 16t, 14t, 13t, and 12t cogs and a 7075 aluminum lock ring that uses wrench flats instead of a specialty tool.
This hub is also available as part of a complete wheel, laced onto our Hazard Lite rim.
